We are family owned and operated production powder coater specializing in industrial manufacturing solutions. Set up for large jobs and high volume runs we utilize the latest technology to keep up with industry demand. Located just west of St. Louis, Mo. minutes from I44 we are centrally located and have easy access to national shipping lanes.

Deliver high quality finished products
Material Preparation
A perfect finish begins with clean parts. Oil and debris will disrupt the electrocoating process ruining the finished product. Once parts are inspected and hung to maximize density and efficiency, a 5 stage wash cleans debris and residue from the material prior to reaching the dryer. Once properly cleaned, product is then masked, plugged or hand prepped if necessary and inspected prior to the coating process.
Powder Coating
It’s what we do. Quality powder coating provides a more durable, cost effective and green alternative to most liquid alternatives. With an almost endless supply of colors and textures we can be sure to find the finish to best suit your needs. We utilize multi angle state of the art automatic, or 4 man booths along with multiple lines to allow for high volume runs. Experienced powder coaters carefully hand coat parts not destined for the automatic booths.
Value Added Services
After your product is coated there is still more we can do for you. We value open communication and engage our customers to tailor a solution that best fits their needs. Once your parts are coated, we can provide final assembly or labeling services. We also offer a variety of packaging solutions to ensure your product arrives to its destination perfect. Need your product packaged for retail. We can do that too.
Quality First
Quality is our driving force, not an afterthought at Haines Finishing. We utilize a robust custom back office that allows us access to drawings, part samples and host of other information about each product that we coat in real time and across departments. Requirements can be clearly articulated and evaluated at each step of the coating process. We invest heavily in current gun and automation technology to ensure the best possible finish of your products. Additionally, each of your parts will be inspected no less than 4 times before it leaves our facility. Our experienced staff will inspect your parts as they are hung, cleaned, coated and packaged.

Quality
“Good clean surfaces, fully and uniformly coated with no defects and properly packaged per customer requirements” – This is the our standard for all parts. Standard operating procedure for hanging, coating and packaging allow for a repeatable process. Trained hands and eyes will evaluate all parts at each critical step of the process and utilize the latest technologies to meet our standards.

Coating
The start of the process begins with our hanging department. Utilizing the customer requirements parts are appropriately hung for maximum efficiency. Next the parts are coated with the desired color either by one of our automated booths or one of our powder coating specialists. From there the parts a cured in one of our large ovens before being packaged for delivery.

JD Haines
Founder / Owner
From its inception in a garage to a multi facility production powder coater Haines Finishing is a product of it’s creators drive, foresight and industry experience. JD has a degree in electrical engineering, along with years of experience in all aspects of the coating industry. While still the driving force of the business he may also be found performing maintenance checks, repairing equipment or planning upgrades. His analytical approach and experience has guided Haines Finishing and provided a valuable asset to countless customers throughout the many years.
Gina Haines
Director of Operations
The oldest of seven children, Gina developed an early need for control which has served her well in her years with Haines Finishing. Having been a part of Haines Finishing since its very beginning, she has taken on many roles for the company. Beginning with the general clerical work that a small shop demands, she has since worked in every facet of the industrial facility it has become. Her experience in the industry, in depth knowledge of the processes , commitment to customer service and high standards are some of her greatest qualities. While typically in the office, she can still be found on the shop floor working a shift from time to time.
Sara Flagg
Office Lead
Likely to be your first stop when reaching out to us for any reason, Sara is the newest addition to Haines Finishing. Coming to us with a degree in psychology and experience in logistics and accounting she is proactive and a quick learner. Her dedication to customer service is evident in her work which has made her a natural fit. From answering your calls and taking orders, to scheduling and employee related issues she has proven to be an invaluable asset to our team.
